Job Overview:-

Our client has recently experienced growth in their Energy Centre Services. They work for a major player in the energy centre business and this sector of the business has performed exceptionally well over the last 12 months and because of this, we are now looking to recruit dedicated engineers to help meet their increasing workload. We, therefore, would like to recruit 2 mobile mechanical /electrical engineers to help in the running of this sector. Most of the sites are in Greater London.

This team will also be backed up by their mobile Heating, Chiller and AC engineers as and when required.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship, knowledge, be able to work alone on a wide range of equipment as well as being able to supervise others when needed.

Some of the duties included are:

• To carry out planned maintenance within plant room areas

• Responding to reactive call outs and attending site to fix

• Mechanical duties: pump overhauls, valve, and pipework repairs, cooling tower testing, vibration analysis, fixing leaks, HIU servicing, belt and pully alinement checks, fault finding, chiller and boiler checks, water treatment/temperature monitoring, and constantly looking for ways to reduce the overall cost of the production

• Electrical Duties: motor testing, BMS monitoring, meter checks, fault finding, and constantly looking for ways to reduce the overall cost of the production

• Servicing AHU's, FCU's, HIU’s, chillers, pumps, invertors, cooling towers, adiabatic coolers, underfloor heating, pipework, and a good working knowledge of all other M&E & HVAC services

• Good understanding of L8/Legionella

• Be a good problem solver and ability to fault find and rectify

• Manage subcontractors and the company’s other technical resources

04 — Mobile Air Conditioning Building Services Engineer, The West End *Progression role* £40k+ Package

It is expected that the ACBSE will be a highly skilled craftsperson, ensuring they deliver high standards of work at all times. Excellent client relationship skills are essential, having the ability to understand the needs of the client and turning this understanding into a benefit for the company. This is a progressive role with a view of the right person progressing within an 18-month timeframe to a supervisor role.

Working for a client who specializes in commercial chillers, boilers, and air conditioning. My client has recenly experienced growth in a new sector within their Energy Centre Services, we, therefore, would like to recruit a chiller technician to help them in the running of this sector.

With a good size chiller maintenance and remedial base already, building up this team with the right engineers is essential to ensure my client can meet their customer’s needs.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship, knowledge and be able to work alone as well as being able to supervise others when needed.

Some of the duties included are:

• Responsible for reactive call-outs for troubleshooting and resolving highly complex systems

• Working on all types of chillers including Absorption, Screws, reciprocating, and Centrifugal

• Servicing with an optimization and efficiency bias

• Coordinates on-site work activity for highly complex and multi-person jobs.

• Diagnosis and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge as well as an understanding of time and material requirements.

• Oversee Health & Safety in line with our client’s systems

• Develop quotations for additional works and repairs as required
